Our Sunday services are a big part of what we do as a community. We gather to learn, pray and worship, before we go out into our local communities and live for God throughout the week. We leave a lot of space during our services for God to meet with us as we wait on him.

Each week will include some time of sung worship, a short talk or discussion, prayer ministry, food and time for community

Where is it?

High Street Methodist, Sish Lane, STEVENAGE, SG1 3LS

It’s about half a mile from Stevenage Bus and Rail stations. There is free parking at the church and in the High Street (check restrictions on arrival) or a pay & display behind the church.

What should I expect?

  1. Can I bring my Kids? Yes, absolutely, all are welcome to our services but we would encourage you to bring your kids along to the 4pm service if you are able to, as that service is focused on them.

  2. Do I have to be a Christian? Everyone is welcome to attend our services, you don't have to be Christian.

  3. Am I allowed to sit when I want? There is no pressure to stand during the service.

  4. What should I wear? There is NO dress code, please come as you are.

  5. Why do you sing songs? We sing songs to and about God, as this is our way of thanking Him for all that he is.

  6. Do I have to give any money? We do have a collection at The 5.30 which is part of our worship, but there is no obligation to give money at any of our services.

  7. What's your denomination? We are a Church of England church, part of the Diocese of St. Albans.

  8. Can I take communion? If you are a Christian from any denomination you are welcome to take communion.
